The Center is a grass roots effort by faculty from Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Economics, Computer Science, and Mathematics with common interests in the design, operation, and economics of supply chains.

The Center has four broad objectives:


1. To foster research collaboration among affiliated faculty through the

co-authoring of papers, co-advising of students, and joint pursuit of external funding.
2. To provide a forum for discussion and dissemination of ideas through regularly offered seminars, workshops, and university/industry events.
3. To foster collaboration with industry and increase technology transfer through industry sponsored projects, student internships, and faculty consulting.
4. To enhance educational programs and industry outreach through short courses, degree certificates, and possibly a new degree.
